Apprentice Painter

            We are currently hiring reliable apprentice painter in the Fort Lauderdale area. We are looking for responsible, motivated, team oriented, and quality mind individuals to join our team. As a Painter Apprentice you will work under the direct supervision of a Foreman or Superintendent learning to apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings, and other structures. Ideal candidates should also have 1-4 years’ experience, excellent communications skills, a commitment to teamwork, want a long-term employment, and have the ability to repair compounds, caulking and sanding; and finish painting skills including cutting, rolling, and brush techniques.


  • 1 – 4 years of painting experience.
  • Willing to learn how to prep, use a brush, roller and spray equipment.
  • Willing to learn about different techniques, products and materials.
  • Willing to train others.
  • Work on uneven surfaces, climb up and down ladders (6ft), scaffolds, lifts and work at various heights.
  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to pass drug test & background check.
  • Must be able to commit to working 10-hour shifts or up and have open availability.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of activity or productivity over extended periods of time.
  • Follow tasks assigned from Superintendents and Foreman.
  • Able to work on your feet for up to 10 hours.
  • Must be able to lift 60 lbs and meet physical demands of the job.
  • Able and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Able and willing to follow safety policies and procedures. (hard hat, reflective safety vest, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, and work boots)
  • Must be reliable and on time. (Reliable transportation)
  • Clean and maintain overall job site appearance and equipment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Customer service and communications skills.
  • Able to work with power tools and equipment.

Pay Rate:

  • $14.00 to $17.00 per hour.
