Superintendent / Foreman

We are currently hiring a reliable Superintendent in the Orlando area. Foreman is responsible for supervising staff painters, communicating daily tasks, and monitoring painting techniques, adherence to specifications, general safety and clean up. This position requires Knowledge and experience in the construction field. Responsible for preparing schedules, determining and ordering materials, coordinating and directing on-site activities of employees, sub-contractors, and vendors to ensure that goals and standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Candidates are required to have a minimum of three years’ experience.
  • Candidates must have strong management abilities, effective communication between contractor and subcontractor, and organizational skills that will be used to manage paint inventory and required paperwork for each job site.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day to day activities on jobsite.
  • Communicate with the Project Manger and General Superintendent about problems.
  • Communicate with general Superintendent about planning manpower and materials.
  • Manage manpower
  • Assign manpower to tasks in groups or teams to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Track progress and efficiency of each team.
  • Hold each team or group accountable for assigned tasks.
  • Make sure they are following safety requirements.
  • Everyday complete sign in sheets and daily reports.
  • Daily reports need to include

Man count
Sign in sheets
Work accomplished
Setbacks or delays
Extra work

Materials purchased and received
Any equipment rentals

  • Fill out daily reports on esub.
  • Attend daily job site meetings.
  • Quality control knowledge.
  • Properly document extra work on tickets and have signed the day work was performed. Provide to project manager.
  • Make sure daily tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Complete RPG paperwork – JR/JC forms.
  • Make sure job trailers and job site are clean and organized.
  • Order/track paint and supplies to ensure they are being used efficiently.
  • Managing inventory and process.
